This beautiful pendant was created using a glass called transparent pink. This colour of glass has more of a peachy tint to it making it quite unique. The technique used to make this bead creates oodles of tiny bubbles in the glass while the bead is being heated.
This particular bead is a 20mm diameter round bead and hangs approximately 35mm below a 29mm long sterling silver handmade figure 8 shaped bail. This bead is lined with fine silver tubing and is finished with handmade sterling silver bead caps and accent beads.
I chose to leave off the chain so the wearer of this pendant can accessorize to their satisfaction. The size and weight of the bead lends itself to a long necklace but the silver bail can be removed if you prefer to wear the bead short.
