These opal orange glass and silver teardrop earrings are all about colour and movement.
I make most of my teardrops in two finishes, glossy and etched matte. Not these ones. The opal orange came out of the flame so good glossy that etching it felt like a waste. Some colours are just better left alone.
Each bead sits inside a sterling silver teardrop frame and is finished with sterling silver bead caps and accents. The silver surrounds the glass without overpowering it, so that opal orange colour still gets to be the star.
They're easy to wear with jeans and a sweater, but pretty enough to dress up when you want a little pop of colour.
